Full-bodied, exquisitely deep colour combined with complex, silky tannins, and succulent bright plum and berry fruit. A wine that speaks of opulence. Bush-vine Petite Sirah, planted 2009, in weathered granite soil just outside of Malmesbury. Hand harvested Petite Sirah with 30% whole bunch clusters was cold soaked for 2 days before being wild fermented in open-top stainless-steel tanks; followed by two weeks of extended skin contact. The wine was pressed into 300L older French oak barrels to mature for 8 months prior to bottling.
